For nearly 3 decades Matt has devoted his time and energy to his craft as an actor and as a teaching artist. He’s been seen both on stages across the country and on screens around the world with some of the biggest names in the industry and studied with some of the most influential educators of his generation.

Since 1995 he has focused his efforts towards working as a professional actor and training young and aspiring actors everywhere. He holds his BFA in Acting from Florida State University and his MFA from the University of Delaware’s Professional Theatre Training Program (PTTP). 

His pursuits have led him from Jacksonville, FL where he started in sweat filled mosquito surrounded out door stages to assisting stars such as Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise, and Jim Carrey in Los Angeles. A few short years later he was learning the art of theatre making from icons such as Jewel Walker and Adrian Hall, which aided greatly in his performing in 3 seasons at the Tony Award winning Utah Shakespearean Festival.

He has since been seen in 25 major motion picture and TV projects with such actors as Nicole Kidman, Jason Bateman, Melissa McCarthy, and Angela Bassett.

In 2012 Matt began exploring the world of holistic and somatic healing practices in Asheville, NC where he has resided for the last 15 years. It is there where he began to discover the other part of his true aim - Integrating his art with spirituality to help communities create more authentic lives lived with pleasure passion and purpose.
